TEACHER CINDY

Born in Bogota, Colombia to Colombian parents, Teacher Cindy grew up in the Latin culture. However, she and her family moved to the United States when she was a year old and she has lived most of her life in Houston, Texas, making her fluent in English and Spanish. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Minor in Telecommunication Media Studies. Out of college, she worked in the Oil & Gas Industry, however she changed her focus and is now in the process of applying to graduate school so that she can study something she is passionate about, the sociology of children and the family. Cindy believes that continued learning and acquisition of knowledge is key to becoming a better citizen of the world. Currently she is learning French to keep her brain active and alert and so that she herself can also become a polyglot.
